American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Riverside is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Riverside follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Went to Randy's to get their delicious apple fritters and we were annoyingly greeted by a new employee that I had never seen was there. Her name was Eilene and she had a terrible attitude. She immediately told us that the apple fritters were sold out and offered us the last bear claw as an alternative option. I ended up going with it and ordering other donuts from the display since I wanted to support some more. When I got home, I noticed that the roasted coconut donut tasted like old deep fryer oil, no donut flavor, no glaze flavor, no coconut flavor at all. The bear claw was completely inedible. The apples inside tasted fermented and like vinegar, as if they had been spoiled for a long time. I called and Eilene offered me a refund or an exchange. I drove back to the location and she seemed to take the refund personal, as if she did not want to give me back the money for the donuts that I was physically returning to her. The owner of this location is always so nice an accommodating that I am sure she would not stand for this treatment of her customers. Its is unfortunate because we will have to find another location with good apple fritters from now on. We will not be returning.

The donuts were good I got a chocolate crΓ¨me filled, a maple bar, a ham n cheese croissant and a regular chocolate bar. So check it out if you’re into a good donut this is for you. They got some fancy weird ones on the shelf but I’m not trying to play around like that. I just wanted a good donut and I got several. Stoked!

The owner was super nice and very friendly. The donut shop is small and like most donut places, they don't have a sitting area. The location is convenient as it is just off the 91 and going back is easy too. Parking is shared with a few other businesses so it might get crowded. Donuts were good, they have a few different ones but we went for the more classic ones.

I visited on 1/26 on a cold night when I was craving donuts near Riverside since I was on the road. I ordered small iced coffee and a box of 6 donuts. The Owners/Mgrs were nice to me and provided a good experience for me. I definitely recommend the cherry iced cake or the blueberry donuts. I would have liked more the coconut raised if it didn't have the coconut, so refined shredded. I prefer the coconut donuts to have the shredded coconut toppings bigger pieces.

Randy's way out here!? Heck yes! Definitely recommend their Mango Tajin Donut. It was surprisingly savory and the flavors mixed quite well. An interesting experience for your mouth and taste buds. Other than that, they got the usual high quality classic offerings. Can't go wrong with any other donut. Definitely stop by and grab a few.
